Agyness Deyn, who’s real name is Laura Hollins, is from Littleborough in Lancashire.
Agyness was discovered in a fish and chips shop in Stubbins, where she began working at age 14.
One of her customers was designer Henry Holland, creator of the House of Holland rhyming slogan T-shirts. She became the face of the company.
In 1999 Agyness won the Face of Rossendale modeling contest while she was studying math, business and theater at All-Saints Catholic Language College.
