A group of hackers have recently completed which has the potential to crush Apple’s iPhone plans. George Hotz is the public representative of the project.The project “Finding JTAG” is a 10 step program, available online here which enables users to overwrite the iPhone’s read-only memory to accept sim cards from any network of your choice. Previously, the iPhone would only accept AT&T sim cards in the US. George Hotz has told Apple Insider, simply that “So patch out the [carrier] lock; voila, unlocked Apple iPhone.”
