My Morning Jacket on American Dad!

Fans of both celestial Southern indie and crudely animated, reference-based Seth MacFarlane comedy will have a very good day on November 22. According to the MacFarlane fan site Stewie's Playground (via TwentyFourBit), My Morning Jacket will make a guest appearance, in animated form, on the November 22 episode of MacFarlane's show "American Dad!". From all available evidence, the show will pretty much center around the band.

In the episode, titled "My Morning Straitjacket" (get it? get it?), main character Stan Smith will become an obsessed fan of the band.

My Morning Jacket is a Grammy-nominated[1] American rock band. The band comprises Jim James (singer-songwriter, guitarist), Tom "Two-Tone Tommy" Blankenship (bassist),[2] Patrick Hallahan (drummer), Carl Broemel (guitarist, pedal steel guitarist, saxophonist, vocalist), and Bo Koster (keyboardist, percussionist, vocalist).
