Katharine McPhee was persuaded by Nick Cokas, and parents to try out for American Idol. So come on in reality she has her career to Nick Cokas, so the least she can so is marry the poor guy.
Nick Cokas is a some time actor but he has not really had the opportunity or maybe the talent to get a real gig, maybe now Nick Cokas can change his name to Nick McPhee and catch a break.
