The deadline for Wisconsin residents to get on the Oct. 1 do-not-call telephone list was extended to
9 a.m. today from last Friday, after the no-call phone line was swamped with calls and the system overloaded. Phone numbers remain on the list for two years.
Don’t worry if you missed this morning’s deadline.
Nov. 30 will be the deadline to be added to the list effective Jan. 1. To register, call 1-866-966-2255 or visit https://nocall.wisconsin.gov.
