Madeleine McCann's father is due to speak about his experiences of the massive media interest in his daughter's disappearance. Gerry McCann will address the Edinburgh International Television Festival on the role that TV and newspapers have played in the hunt for his daughter.
Mr McCann will speak to Newsnight presenter Kirsty Wark for the festival's Richard Dunn interview. He is expected to talk about how other people in similar situations to him and his wife Kate could use the power of the media to their advantage.....
