Britt Reid is in trouble again. Of all places, Andy Reid's kid goes out and gets taken in to custody at Dick's Sporting Goods. Shortly before 4 this afternoon Plymouth Township Police received a tip call that Britt Reid was under the influence and about to drive away in his pickup truck from the Dicks Sporting Goods parking lot on Chemical Road in Plymouth Township.
When police arrived Britt was getting into his truck and started to drive away. They quickly pulled him over and took him into custody. He was taken to Mercy Suburban Hospital in Norristown to be tested for illegal substances and/or alcohol in his system. Results of those tests are expected to be returned in several days.It's possible he was just very upset that Jeremiah Trotter was released. More family troubles at the Reid house could have significant implications on the coach's role with the Eagles this year. More to come, and let us know what you hear.
Britt Reid posted 10 percent of $100,000 bail. He was released under the condition that he not drive, except to school, and that he undergo random drug and alcohol testing.
