Mark Whitaker, has been tapped to fill Tim Russert’s job as the network’s new Washington Bureau Chief. He’ll make oversee Meet the Press and all election and political coverage, plus he’ll make occasional on-air appearances as an analyst. He’ll also keep his VP duties.
