Franco's first on-camera kiss with another man, though it's probably his sloppiest. He also kissed Sean Penn in Milk. In Saturday Night Live player Will Forte just got a serious lesson in the Lingua Franco.
The kiss comes less than a month after Adam Lambert generated widespread controversy by making out with another man during the American Music Awards, which aired during prime time on ABC. Lambert's kiss led to other ABC programs canceling scheduled appearances. It generated even more controversy when CBS News blurred the footage, but didn't blur a similar clip of Britney Spears kissing Madonna at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards.
